Found my plane!

It took about 8 months of looking, but I am now the owner of a new to me Cessna 182C. A huge thanks goes out to 182 STOL driver (Bill Reid) for getting me in contact with the owner before N8822T went on the market, performing the pre-buy and flying her up to Las Vegas. Thanks to all the people who chimed in on my various posts and pointed me in the right direction. I picked her up this morning and logged my first 3 hours of time on the flight back to Durango.

Re: Found my plane!

And it only took four guys, two 182's, a rental car, and a burned up Cardinal to get you into the airplane :)

Re: Found my plane!

Nice looking 182! Great airplane choice, I picked up another one this spring too. Hard to beat the 182 for a good all around flying machine.

This is the one I picked up earlier this year.

Re: Found my plane!

Nice! I grew up with a C model N8872T. Sadly that airplane was wrecked after we sold it :( They were probably on the line together at Cessna!

Man where do you guys find these sweet birds? I just sold my RV-9A (getting picked up this weekend) and am embarking on the hunt for a 182. If anyone has tips lemme know!
