Interesting to note that it apparently was a parachute that saved his life. I am guessing a BRS chute. Would like to know more about what caused the accident. Glad he made it okay.

Suburban airport is right up the street from me. One of my co workers duck hunts off the end of the runway there and said he had heard something about a crash of an experimental plane. Must have been this guy. Whammy

Let's see if I remember how to land this thing.
Humm. seems to me if the flaps lowered on one side he could have simply lowered the flaps on the other to make it simmetrical and flown it home. Now that is acording to a journalist of course, if the aileron had been stuck down I guess you would be S.O.L.
