For sale or Trade IO-520-D Continental 300 hp engine complete . I did a little horse trading and ended up with "humpback "IO-520-D out of Bellanca Viking . Previous owner ran out of fuel and made landing in desert sand near Barstow and dinged prop . Previous owner elected to sell the whole airplane back to insurance company -and get another ride. I'm looking at either finding a 185-205-maybe 206 to put this engine in or trade/sell engine .Engine appears ok(not locked up or broken pieces outside) but will need teardown and inspection . Comes with Fuel Injection ,mags,vacuum pump, F&M oil filter adapter,Fuel flow module ,Governor ,and old messed up exhaust . If interested or have any interesting trades (don't need any ex-wives ,ex-girl friends,boats ,motor homes ,fancy cars etc.) like land ,other airplanes , or Cash.

You can Pat it's just that trying to get pictures -other data etc. is a pain. You could do a Pponk with this engine really easy for your 182. For those out there SERIOUSLY looking for a engine for your 180-210 airplane this would give you a really good starting point. My 182 would be a ideal target ,but---I have 3 more 0-470-s to build up that I'd rather do for 182's .I like the ability to run auto fuel in my airplane. The fuel injection doesn't allow that ---I do know of a lot of Pponk's that are running mogas. Right now pictures are on my phone and I need to transfer to computer .

Think I have a TIO-550 for 182 . Other option would be Alison c-250-17 (350 hp) turbo prop . >> Just got 200 gallon tank and 12 electric pump(20 GPM) on trailer .Getting ready to go vertical ! More POWER

I'm thinking if no one wants this IO-520-D I've located several late model 182-185's that will be this winter's project . !975 -182 minus engine(it had a IO-550 that was removed) or several 185's in Central America needing new power . I'd rather sell the engine but will overhaul it and put in newer airplane if necessary .
