FS - Ridgerunner kit project

Ended up with this in a trade.

Ridgerunner 3 (?)
Professionally built, jigged and tig welded 4130, powdercoated fuselage.
Tandem seating, dual controls.
All AN hardware, lost of PMA’d parts/instruments/gascolator etc..
fuselage assembled and ready for cover (?)
Tail feathers covered in Polyfiber thru pink (polybrush)
Wings partially assembled. Ailerons and flaps - yes, flaps! Need assembly.
Has an engine and prop, engine runs. 2 cyl 4 stroke 35 hp (?)
Really cool looking project but I’m too busy to take it on.
Really needs a Rotax 60 - 90 hp, not so sure about the engine that’s on it. It has no build plans or paperwork and sold as is.
$3000 with engine $2000 w/o
Located at KIZA (Ca.)

I’d like to find out more about this kit if anyone has any info on it.
Happy to provide photos or parts inventory.

Thanks,
Doug

Re: FS - Ridgerunner kit project

Hey Doug,

I think the guy who was making those kits got way behind or went through a divorce or something. Can't quite remember the details but there was a guy who used to be on here who flew one in the Philippines or Papua New Guinea or somewhere...he loved it. That guy ordered a second one and never got it and complained about it a lot here. Never did hear if there was a resolution to the whole thing.

Edit: I found the thread. It's a rollercoaster.

One of those with a rotax in it would be a hoot…
