Put my big boy pants on yesterday and left the airport in the Citabria. Ventured over to KSEE airport for some T and G's then flew the valley I live in . Continued up till it becomes more of a Canyon, flew over the Reservoir to the end, climb out and turned back for round two. flew directly over my house .
Flying at 1400 AGL with terrain up to 3600 Just a taste of more to come
Finished the day surfing 6-8 foot glassy reef waves
Best day in a long while

Did you fly up El Cap reservoir? Love that area and miss KSEE!

Yes I did. I live in the El Monte Valley so I flew over my house at 1400 ft then continued on down to ElCap. Turned left and flew up the “arm” then climbed out ,turned and reversed
It is amazing how rough the terrain is in East San Diego County
