Man, I want one of those! Great flying, but the bridge scene pissed me off! My motto has always been do what you will but don't get noticed or even seen. They made the motorists unwilling participants on a high narrow bridge no less, give me a break! Cool from a tech skill point of view but oh so politically incorrect.

Lessee . . . rude, inconsiderate, obnoxious, giving motorized paragliders a bad name, etc, etc. I've seen people do worse things, of course, but that's not the point. When people do crap like this is gives aviation a bad name.

Re: Fuselage not required

I hate to say this, but if I was driving across that bridge, and saw the para glider pilot do what he did? I would have jiggled my steering wheel (well before getting to him, no way causing him harm) and then got back in my lane JUST to let him know maybe not all were so thrilled by his flying as HE was. And...it would probably never cross his mind that the erratic driving was being done by a pilot! The guy was clueless. Again, do it all you want, but don't get caught and for criss sake don't get video'd!

Re: Fuselage not required

I am willing to bet that was in Europe someplace.People over there don't really give a crap what other people do....At least he was in the correct lane.On the other hand, people from over here really enjoy complaining and giving out their opinions about what is safe and what should be done differently.

Re: Fuselage not required

No, low rider, you'll find considerate, responsible, and mature people in both Europe and the US. And you'll find the other sort in both places as well. This has nothing to do with here or there.

Much of my family lives in Europe.

From the caption to the YouTube posting of the video:

Uncensored paramotor maniacs. Powered paragliding around Italy is a total blast. The people love wild & crazy stuff and unlike other places they are very accepting of things that would land you in jail anywhere else. The Flat Tops worked flawlessly as always and gave the most spectacular tour of Italy imaginable.

Once Wup sees this, there should be some ABW sneakers coming out. :D
I loved the "skiing through the grass", that looked pretty cool.
