Garmin Aera 660
Avionics, airplane covers, tires, handheld radios, GPS receivers, wireless Wx uplink...any product related to backcountry aircraft and flying.
Is anyone using Garmin's new GPS, the Aera 660? It looks like a nice unit and it seems that the subscription plan is finally at a competitive price.
I would love to know your impressions and specifically your thoughts on the terrain page and how useful the moving map is when using the VFR sectional chart.
Thanks,
Joe

Currently have a 560 in my plane and once Air Gizmo has a box for the 660, I will be installing it. Better screen and faster mainly. Also works with ADS-B which is nice.

@ TWflyerHere is a link to a video by Paul Bertorelli posted on AVWeb. There is an interesting discussion on why a person would consider the Aero 660 over a cell phone of small mini iPad.
