Garmin GFC 500 autopilot STC approved for 180/185

https://buy.garmin.com/en-CA/CA/p/604257#additional

Announced this week. I’ve seen a configuration overview, and the serves in the tail mount quite far back. Out of the way of the extended baggage. No interference with the flat floor baggage STC like can happen with STEC. On Aerocet amphibs, a 185 can have a CG that is more forward than desired, so this helps with that also.

I want one!

Very nice, though it is a bit strange that Garmin has not posted more details like comfiguration costs regarding axis wanted and their respective weights.

I am aiming for a dual G5 now (with the G3x vulture loitering over) and that would cripple my current Kap 150 capabilities, so the Gfc500 fills perfectly, just as desired by Garmin, if you know what I mean.
