Gas Prices
Technical and practical discussion about specific aircraft types such as Cessna 180, Maule M7, et al. Please read and search carefully before posting, as many popular topics have already been discussed.

What are you aviators paying for gas now? I checked today, $4.69 a gallon at McCall Aviation. They jack the prices because they can. Council last time I checked was $3.75, Cascade was $4.40.
Time for auto gas again!

My info is a tad stale, but a week or so ago it was $4.10 from the self-serve in OGD. $4.20ish off the truck. Just in time for the summer flying. Looks like my flying slush fund isn't going to go as far as I had hoped.

Just ordered 100 gallons to be delivered to my bulk tank. $557.36. Do the math. I guess my kids will have to go without food or clothing so dad can fly. Often times I have friends that want to go sightseeing and will split the gas.

$4.30 to $4.80 in the central California area. One pump at a small field is old enough that they can't charge more than $3.99, regardless of what they paid for the fuel. I go to that pump a lot.

Hahaha. I predict that pump won't last long.

Robert "Bub" Wright, aka Skylane, passed away in November of 2011. He was a beloved community member and will be missed.
I use mogas at my home airport, which is selling for $3.15, but I paid nearly $4.75 a gallon for 100ll in eastern Montana last Friday.

Oregon seems to be between $5-6. Medford self serve $5.30. I hear it's about $6 at Pendleton.
No doubt about it...it is and has been for some time, officially PAINFUL

Lots of airplanes sitting on the ground more now that used to fly regularly.
