Gathering of Mustangs

Did anyone make it to the gathering of Mustangs last weekend in Ohio? I sorely wanted to go, but work kept me here. If anyone went, some pictures posted would help ease my sorrow.

We flew up Saturday morning and spent the day...let the healing begin.

Those are awesome!!! Just what the doctor ordered. How'd you get that Maule out in front of those Mustangs and F-16's for some of those pictures?

The first 2 of the bunch are the only ones that I did not take...I wish I could claim credit for them. There was a small group of photographers that were allowed to ride in the back of a C-130 and they took photos from the rear whith the cargo door open.

mustangs

We went to the P-51 thing on friday and it was great.

Then we had our Graham Field fly-in on Saturday and it was also great. Several mustang gathering people came over to our fly-in, including astronaut Cathy Sullivan (first woman to walk in space). Also at our fly-in were three Alaskan's and a German pilot.

Ohio rocked last weekend!

I put up some pictures from the fly-in yesterday.
