For the refueled Endurance record I don't think anyone has beat the C172's record. 64 day 22 hrs and 19 minutes. I figure at 100 mph that's 155,800 miles from take off to landing. Can't even imagine what that would cost in fuel today.

The flight was terminated when the engine deteriorated to the point that they could no longer climb away from the fuel truck


64 days and 22 hrs = 1558 hrs. Almost reached TBO in one flight :shock:
