I need warm weather and good float flying. Suggestions please.
Ok, I am a east coaster but looking for good spot for the winter besides Florida.
Any good suggestions out west for some great warm winter flying on floats

Thanks for the help.

Bummed Ron Pratte's C208 for the day a couple years ago.
I had mine in Northern California when I lived in Sonoma County, and we never lacked for places to fly or things to do. With Hoser the Wonder Dog on the Russian River circa 1992.

Not sure of any marinas there accept float planes? Unless by chance you are on amphibs?
Lake Powell, Lake Mojave and Lake Mead are great places to land and camp coming from somewhere else. Not so good a place to fuel or access other services as they do not allow float planes inside the marina breakwaters or at the ramps.

Well I love golf as much as flying. And yes my bird is a Cessna 182 with Aerocet amphib's.
Are there some facilities that will welcome or allow some ramping with the wheels?
I have only had it a year and trying to explore with it.
