Gloating

Hey guys, I thought I'd add some sunny photos. We flew to a truck stop called the Kofa cafe, and then a dry lake bed a few miles away. The blue stuff on top of the photos is called sky. :D

Clear blue sky this am, not a cloud in sight.
Temp -5F, density alt. of 3500ft, the ole milk stool will feel like a rocket ship this am. Looks like a full day of boring holes in the sky. If it was -45F I could get sea level performance, "wow"!

While the optimist, the pessimist and the realist were arguing about the glass of water… the opportunist drank it.
Never assume malice for what can be explained by stupidity!

We finally are experiencing some standard Reno weather: cold, dry, and sunny. Erin and I went skiing yesterday for a couple hours and it was magical: Fresh powder(kinda tracked out by the high school kids who are still on break :x ) and sunny skies. Being in the snowy mountains on a sunny cold day has got to be one of my favorite things. Getting away from the throngs of people and hiking/skiing the backcountry is so much better.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

Zane,
Nothing better than freshies, damn school kids. Of course I used to be one of them. You know, sleep in the car catch the first lift, maybe ski a little out of bounds 8) I'll wave when I fly over today. It'll be around 1540 or so.

I'll just tune in the Oakland Center freq on my handheld around that time, you can say hi and when the controller comes back just say you had a stuck mic.

I should probably get back up there tomorrow...looks like we are in for a H for the next couple days, at least according to the surface prog charts.

That's it, just east of the power lines. Great place, just don't expect fast service at the resturant.
