Gold Found on Youtube!!! Old ID/MT BC Flying vids

I stumbled upon some awesome videos made by Richard Karr. I'm sure that some you you have heard of him. The video's are from back in the 50's when Richard flew for Johnson Flying Service out of Missoula, MT. Some cool old planes in these video's on awesome missions to awesome destinations. (The first two video's are not as long as advertised. There is a lot of dead air on the end for some reason.)

Seen some of these before. Great stuff!

Anyone who experiences flying the wilderness in this part of the world is very fortunate.

Wow! You were not kidding when you said you found gold! Those videos are absolutely fantastic! What I wouldn't do for some of those airplanes today! The Curtiss Air Sedan is rare as the proverbial hen's teeth! There were only 15 produced and I only know of two survivors.

Thanks for posting! These are just great..

I need to go through my grandfathers logbooks.. He's got a bunch of DC-3 stuff in there, in Idaho/Oregon/Washington, with the Forest Service. Neat perspective into such an awesome time!
