Golden West Fly-In Northern California

If anyone from BCP is going to the big EAA fly-in at Yuba County Airport next weekend, be sure to stop by the booth and say hello.

It's been great to meet several of you in person at recent fly-in events. So far, there have been a few instances at these fly-ins where the following statement was made (either made by me or made to me) :

"Oh... you mean YOU're that assh**e from the internet ? I thought for sure you would have had a red leather suit, horns and a tail! You don't seem so awful in person!"

Hope to see some of you mugs there in NorCal, or maybe Arlington, or maybe Oshkosh.

I'll probably swing by at least for a day, definitely look for your stand and stop by to introduce myself. Wx looks favorable!

No, you're the BRILLIANT ass**le who put a fire breathing V8 in the CH-801... you're my hero !

I really liked the 701 and even had a set of plans and a built tail kit I got off eBay a year or two ago. But I had to streamline and get rid of several projects including that one, to concentrate on the STC project. I have one flight in a 701, and it was kinda funky. I'd make a few changes if I were to build any of the CH STOL series, but I'd happily build one with those changes someday over the rainbow.

Anyone else going? Getting close. I'm arriving early on Sat morning to try and beat some of the crowd.

Good to meet you Bill. Hopefully the rest of you Sunday went better. Sounds like the show was a total bust for most of the vendors.
