Hey, will somebody tell me what matches NOMEX in fire resistance these days?
Back when I was on the FD 35 yrs ago the was NOTHING that came any where close.
The mil chopper crew clothes are ALL spec to be NOMEX (or a generic brand of the same thing-which meets specs).
Any how last I knew. Somebody update me please.....

Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process... 
With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).
