In early April 2017 I will be flying my 182 from Colorado Springs to San Diego, using a southern route. Are there any good camping spots enroute, hopefully near a hotsprings? Plane has larger tires (29" mains, large nose wheel and fork), a Robertson kit, and VGs. I am bringing it down from Alaska for a short tour into Baja. Have joined the Baja bush pilot group already, but looking for suggestions on camping and southerly route from Colorado springs to San diego. and for that matter, also suggestions for a nice, quiet strip "near" San diego to meet my brother in law!!.
Any help you can offer will be greatly appreciated!
