GoPro 2
Links to general aviation backcountry flying-oriented videos. It can be yours or stuff you find on the internet. Please no airline/military.
If you are considering a GoPro check out the new GoPro 2. There will be a remote control coming out in Feb 2012 that will allow you to manage up to 50 cameras (that is not a typo) and monitor what the camera is seeing. The remote will work on the (now old) GoPro Hero HD but will only turn it on and off. See their website for details.

Cool. This shit changes too fast! Buy a camera, and by the time you figure out what you don't like about it, there is another out. Planned obsolescence/upgrade. Gadget guys are just doomed. That be me.

I have seen POV airplane video that does not have the weird "simitar" prop distortion. I was told it had been removed by using a filter on the output of the video, but how or by what was proprietary information. Does anyone on here know how?

You need a neutral density filter. Some cameras have them available some you have to cobble them up yourself.

From the gopro website:
"And with the arrival of GoPro’s new Wi-Fi BacPac™ and Wi-Fi Remote products slated for release this winter, the HD HERO2 will enable video remote control via the Wi-Fi Remote, smartphones and devices, tablets and computers as well as enabling live GoPro video broadcast from anywhere there is Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot."
Compatible with Wi-Fi BacPac™ and Wi-Fi Remote™
Long Range Remote Control of up to 50 GoPro Cameras per Wifi Remote
Wi-Fi Video/Photo Preview, Playback and Control via GoPro App
Some of the new video looks really good, especially low light.

Slow shutter speed will fix the problem.
