I have the GoPro HD Hero and was curious what setting you guys are using to shoot (r1,r2, r3, r4, r5) from the inside the cabin. On my most recent flight I used r2 and it contain good footage but I think it could do better. I'm thinking of trying r5.

I use a hero2 so I don't know what the r_ means. Maybe you could decode that for us.

Yeah. I was thinking of that after I posted.... Its actually the symbol on the LCD screen that shows up as a 1,2,3,4,or 5. It deletes the "r". Its basically the settings for widest, tallest, max view etc.... Not sure if this helps.....
