GPS Replacement for Apollo 612B?

I have a 612B that is now a boat anchor. Any ideas on affordable drop-in replacement GPS for this unit?
Thanks in advance. 45Romeo

The Apollo 820 Flybuddy GPS will slide right in your existing tray. You will need to change the antenna but the holes and the cable should be the same. Price has doubled in the last month but still your cheapest route.

Garmin 150XL, or 250XL (with comm radio) if you really want a panel mount and are feeling wealthy.

Or, just ignore the hole and use a GPSmap [X]96 for half the money.

I have the lowest a GPSmap 96 and it is great I don't even plug it in, with a 40 hour battery life don't need to. Does every thing I need it to do in the airplane.
