Vick, see if you can circle over Ohio and take a couple of photos of the event.

If you are coming from the east on Saturday, you might want to meet up at Carroll County (TSO) which is the breakfast fly-out. I would think 9:00 would be about right if there isn't a lot of morning fog. see you soon, John

Rod,
I will be flying out on Friday afternoon. I will be hauling some of Nicks gear. If it works for you we can hook up at York for a bite and then move on?

Tom, this storm is kicking my butt. Friday is rain in the morning, maybe afternoon, and high winds. I was thinking about going out Saturday morning so that the floodwaters on the field have a chance to recede but right now the clouds might be below what I need to get over the Appalachians. Ohio looks okay. What does it look like for you?

Re: Graham Field / Ohio Bush Planes Fly In

Rod,
I'm getting beat up pretty bad. Saturday may work. Rain keeps coming and it's looking like work on the weekend. Unless this 4" pump holds out. I have a 2" backup in a commercial building. We were working on a 30" storm drain prior to the storm and aborted at noon yesterday to work on plan "B". so far, so good, I'll stay in touch.
Take care and stay dry! [-o< ,

Re: Graham Field / Ohio Bush Planes Fly In

Nick, 5:30 to 6:00. That gives time to eat and get back to my place before dark. We do have the runway lights working, although I wouldn't recommend a first timer landing here in the dark.

If you can't make that time, we will have at least hot dogs, etc. at the camp fire, so you won't starve to death.

Re: Graham Field / Ohio Bush Planes Fly In

Guy's I'm very much bummed out! I will not be out. This is something I planned for from first announcement. We have been flooded out and I can not leave. Please give PiReps if possible. I hope everyone is having a great time and I will look to next year. There are a lot of people I was looking forward to meeting.
Take care all and have safe flights!
