My daughter will be a new C17 pilot at McChord AFB come July. She'll be needing to find some hangar space to rent for her little Cassutt Racer (tucks nicely under a high wing). Anyone have any leads/suggestions/space available in the greater Tacoma area???

A couple friends of mine are hangar developers, they've built hangars at Auburn, Tacoma Narrows, & Thun Field-- all close to McChord. Tell her to contact Dave or John at NW Hangars www.nwhangars.com They may have a spot for her or be able to line her up with something or someone.

I'm an Army pilot at Ft Lewis and have room in my hangar along with my Cub, Stearman and T-Craft at Olympia. Another tail dragger would fit nicely. It would be about $150/month but the Cassutt would be in good company.

Will do. Last night I was talking with her, mentioned flying in some moderate turbulence yesterday. She said "Know how we deal with that in the C17? Push the turbulence button on the autopilot, they don't call it the skill killer for nothing!"

Dave and John (NW Hangars) have empty hangars at both Tacoma Narrows Airport and Thun Field in Puyallup. In addition, there are numerous county-owned T-hangars currently available at Tacoma Narrows.
