Happy Canadian Thanksgiving

Today is our Canadian Thanksgiving Day. We celebrate our Thanksgiving a month earlier than our friends to the south because we are so fart north. If we wait until November the turkeys have frostbite and the pumpkins are frozen so hard the only thing they are good for is making pumpkin ice cubes for our drinks.
Today we eat fresh turkey and pumpkin pie and pour our Canadian whiskey over clear ice cubes.

Re: Happy Canadian Thanksgiving

A few years back, the wife and I took a weekender for my birthday to Vancouver. We were surprised to learn that it was Canadian Thanksgiving! We were staying in Coal Harbor and this little upscale market had the most amazing deli with the whole Thanksgiving menu.

I have to say, I don't mind celebrating Thanksgiving twice.

Happy Thanksgiving! We celebrated a bit yesterday. Working today, be it at a more leisurely pace.
