He has more carrier landings than anyone to date. Flown more aircraft along with a number of other accomplishments. You just dont find this anymore. They are a rare bread and not many left.

In my entire pre-aviation life, I had lots of respect for certain individuals, but never "looked up to" anyone nor had any heroes...For some reason, in aviation, I have discovered people like this man who I most certainly "look up to" and am humbled by such bravery, skill, integrity, and intelligence!!!

To even try to put myself in his shoes is impossible, but damn what a dream
