Head cam from my last BFR – Super Cub on PK 1800

Haven't uploaded a video in about a year. I'm certain no one could ever enjoy this FPV of me flying as much as I do but it's still a glimpse of the beauty of northern MN in 4K 8)

From my most recent BFR and my first one on floats. Stick back, damnit!

Nice!! I really need to get back to flying floats! Some of the most fun I have had flying. Unfortunately, not living on a lake limits the places a guy can keep a plane on straight floats.

That looks like a great time. I'd sure love to give a Super Cub a try some time.
The navigation to me always looks like a challenge where you're at (if you didn't have GPS). Get up in the air and it's just bush and lakes everywhere. One of my instructors talked about getting his first job in Ontario. They had him rebuild a crashed Norseman, when he was done the boss told him to take it up and check himself out on it. Took off, was concentrating on airplane things and completely lost track of the lake he'd taken off from

Coming from out west, this seems totally possible and even likely. Will have to brush up on my dead reckoning.
