This year for the 4th, we took of with the intent to fly up to Heiner in Star Valley to take the owners up on an invite to land there from a few years back. Ended up that the in-laws were going to be up at the family cabin in Alpine, so we met them for lunch after checking Heiner out. What a great day of family and flying! Here are a few pics.

Man oh man does that grass look good!

Made me think of Vicks comment on another thread about flying in an open cockpit at sunset with the smell of fresh cut grass.

I bet landing on it felt about as smooth as...(whatever adjective you can creativly think of... )

It was very nice! In fact, probably one of, if not the nicest grass I've landed on. They take good care of it and have quite the set up going on there. I can't wait to get back!
