We're doing an interior redo on our 1965 206. We're currently doing the panel and want to replace the chewed up circuit breaker nuts and washers. The breakers are good, so don't want to replace them and have searched and searched the net. Can anybody suggest a place to come up with 11/32" x 32 pitch, stainless thin nuts and washers? If the other sources do not work out, try and contact Luky's Hardware in Burbank, CA. They are one of the last great mil surplus hardware stores. Formerly Joe Factor Surplus for those who remember that here locally. You will have to send then a sketch of the part, and the actual thread size (it will be #6-32, #8-32, or #10-32, not "11/32")

She might be willing to have one of the employees go and look to see if they have the right part. They do have a good selection of stainless hardware.

It may be a 5/16-32 or a 3/8-32. 11/16-32 is not a UNC size. But if you are looking for a thin nut, the easiest place to go is mcmaster.com. It'll be on your doorstep tomorrow if you order it by 3pm or so.

Mine are 5/16 in my 182. You can also get bearing nuts, which require a spanner to install or remove, but look a bit sharper (no hex, just smooth with two slots) for the "details oriented" sort of person.
