Remember this day, Gump?
I flew east about a hundred miles and picked him up today. He got the first of hopefully many hours of flying time....and only puked once.

Exactly. Gump had nothing to do with the trip today....I just thought he might appreciate the red heeler. I know he had one that meant a lot to him that he spent a lot of time with in Alaska. I figured the puppy and the plane might bring back a good memory from way back.

At the time of the original post, no name. Involving my 5 and 6 year old kids can make things kinda challenging.
After much deliberation, we have finally settled on
"Willie".

Thats cool. Congrats. I had a red heeler a few years back. Keep him busy or he'll chew up everything in sight.

Heelers are great dogs. Very intelligent and hard headed enough for me to relate to. Mine sleeps so much that she doesn't have enough conscious time during flights to throw up.

Healers are great dogs. I've had several, and I always come back to them when I'm looking for a pup. They've been good to me....and I think I too relate well with the hard headed thing.
Patton's Willie was super cool. That's a tuff one to compete with.
