High res sectional chart images

High res sectional chart images

This is probably common knowledge, and using something like Skyvector gets you a portal-style viewer, but sometimes I like to open the entire sectional as an image on my giant 30" monitor and just poke around.

Scroll down the page to see a list of links for each sectional. The files are large...60MB uncompressed TIFF.

The VFRMap site is great! Does it open where you are too? It loaded right where I am and I was wondering if it opens where you guys are too?

Totally. Your location can be approximated based on your IP address, which the web server receives when you make a request.

That's scary! Guess I better quit sending letters to the White House. :shock:

Really, I had an address for the White house for a while and I used to send GB, Hillary jokes. :D

I like using the sectional chart feature on duat.com, you can enter your route of flight and it will show it on the map. There is also several weather overlays you can display on the map.

Is there is a site to look at or download Canada's VFR charts?
Ipad USA sectionals = $75
Canada = $225
