Highway takeoff in Indiana

I didn't catch the details on this one, but apparently in Indiana they let you take off again from a highway if you land on one.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”

"Somebody" told me once that a 1/2" socket comes in pretty handy for unstepping traffic signs on a narrow roadway

I have a friend who landed a breezy he just bought on I-70 about 20 years ago to get either gas or oil, I forget. The cops came and refused to let him take off. Said he would have to remove the wings and haul it.

My friend ask the gas station guy what exit they were at, then went to a phone and called in a false report of a major accident a few miles away. The cop left, and my friend took off and made it to his Ohio airport.

The cops were waiting and there was a fine, etc, but he didn't have to take it apart.

...remember, life is uncertain, eat desert first!
... and, those that pound their guns into plows, will plow for those who don't.

What was wrong with it?
