Marc, I got the straps in the mail for the Husky. Thank you for the excellent customer service.

Guys, the GoPro mount that Marc sells is a beautiful piece of equipment that goes on and off the airplane easily. And you won't find any better customer service out there. I just wish my GoPro camera worked as well as the mount. It needs a better battery I think.

I have you on the interested list. I dropped of the new extrusion at the machine shop last week and they are holing to have it done first week of January with a chance for a bit sooner. I just need some time for anodize and assembly and its lookign like mid January if all goes well.

Has anyone found a good solution to gyro-stablize footage on a cessna yet? It's just a big more jerky than l like when sped up.

Absolutely. You're not gonna like the price though. Gear that works inside the airplane starts in the low thousands. Gear that works outside the airplane starts in the high thousands.

Hello Idair,

My mount is capable of holding one of the hobby sized stabilized camera platforms; at least one of my customers tried it. However in doing so, you up the complexity exponentially. now you have a battery powered gimbal with electronics that are not waterproof or even water resistant and its just a mater of time before the gimbal is cooked. Also what if when it shorts out it catches fire. Lipo's are very sensitive to shorts whether it be direct across their own terminals or the board they are connected too shorting out. The gimbals also need to be able to damp out the vibration in the presence of the wind drag produced by the camera while in flight. When i worked in the film industry I did some design consulting work for a film Gimbal manufacturer and they are an order of magnitude more complex then the hobby gimbals that can be bought for $100 and they are designed to take and damp out the loads that would be expected in flight. Dont get me wrong the hobby gimbals are amazing and are ideal in quadcopters, hand held rigs and other simple applications. If I were to use a Gimbal in a GA aircraft I would make a mount to be able to use it inside.
