
The Hood River Fly-In is coming up in a few weeks!
For those that have not been to Hood River, it's a great town with good food, great Beer!
There was a good turnout of airplanes last year. September is great time of year for flying the Columbia River Gorge. The strong summer winds are settling down and the temperatures are usually just right.
I'll bring my plane over on the evening of the 5th for pilots night. How about a BCP meet up for drinks and food Saturday night?

Aircraft Parking:
WAAAM is on the North side of the airfield.
Aircraft parking is on the grass next to the museum.
(Transient parking on the apron is extremely limited.)
Please bring your own tie downs.
Ground handlers will direct you to parking.
Be prepared to shut down and push into parking.

Registration:
Registration is inside the gate at the Southeast corner of the main museum building.
Aircraft registration of $5.00 includes admission to the museum on all three days.

Showers are available.

Scheduled shuttle van between WAAAM and hotels is provided.
There are plenty of places to stay in Hood River and nearby, but lodging fills up quickly, so don’t delay in making reservations.
Fuel:
Fuel truck by sign-up: Sign-up at the Classic Wings tent outside the museum hangar.
Self-serve fuel is also available at Classic Wings on the South ramp.
Airport Information:
Runway construction has been planned and may begin before the fly-in. Construction should not interfere with the fly-in but be sure to check NOTAMs.
