Not sure what model of engine you have. Call the Lycoming factory and ask to speak to a tech rep there. They are VERY helpful and knowledgeable. BUT, be sure to call them prepared to tell them what model engine you have, and if the injection system is from Lycoming or some aftermarket setup.
MOST fuel injected engines require that you circulate some fuel through the FI servo and lines to purge vapor locks prior to start when hot.
Typically, you do this with mixture rich, fuel pump on, and smoothly advancing the throttle, then closing the throttle, mixture idle cutoff, and boost pump off.
Throttle set to about 1/2 inch open, crank the starter, and when it catches, mixture full rich.
BUT, call Lycoming and find out if this actually applies to YOUR engine model and injection system.
