House & hangar on 2 grass runways (Y91) Lake City, MI

Thought I’d share this as it’s a pretty sweet deal for a home and hangar on a private airport community.

It’s in Lake City MI, beautiful and fun little town just under a hour drive from Traverse City

Airport is a 10min drive from a good sized lake that’s seaplane friendly, 7min flight from KCAD where there’s a good sized runway, but no prison style fence, good priced fuel and instrument approaches

Fun field with a good pilot groups, working pilots, instructors, mechanics etc no HOA BS

229k three bed with good sized hangar

Be nice if a pilot bought this place to keep the local grass strips stay alive

Living with a hangar in the back yard is the dream!

It's cool that there is a stipulation in the sale contract that the buyer must be a pilot. One of the local-ish airparks had a house for sale on the runway. The owner had removed the bifold door from the hangar and converted it into a 3 bay garage. Madness.
