How HOT is Mexican Mountain Utah?
Not necessarily information about airstrips or airports, but more general info about a greater area or a route of flight.
I was thinking of going to Mexican Mountain Utah for a camping trip this summer. My question is can anyone tell me about the heat there during summer. Is it to hot? If so what is the best time to camp there.
Thanks
Rick

We floated the San Rafael river past the bridge (within 5 miles of MM) last June 6th and it was 100+ degrees F. If you could deal with the heat, dipping in the river, then the bugs would drive you insane in the Swell. They start about mid- may and go through the hot season.
The Fall is epic down there, Mid-September and beyond.

Altitude is Time…. Airspeed is Life!
I have been there many times. It is too, too hot in the summer. There is very little shade. Most of that area is hot in the summer. There may be occasional not so hot periods.
