How many of you tailwheel cowboys can do this?
Links to general aviation backcountry flying-oriented videos. It can be yours or stuff you find on the internet. Please no airline/military.
Seems like a good way to soon become intimate with your engine innards. Impressive though.

Half a century spent proving “it is better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.”
Hey, the tail wheel CFI that checked me out in my 180 made me taxi around the Caldwell airport doing just that.

Then after that we flew out in the middle of BFE and did that on Alkali and sage brush.

Robert "Bub" Wright, aka Skylane, passed away in November of 2011. He was a beloved community member and will be missed.
I though everyone did it that way.

Humor may not make the world go around, but it certainly cheers up the process...

With clothing, the opposite of NOMEX is polypro (polypropylene cloth and fleece).
Success has many fathers...... Failure is an orphan.
I think John Mohr doing it in the 220 stock Stearman is even more impressive. Kind of like doing a stoppie on a Harley.
Here's his routine. Check out how he turns around after landing:

Notice that he is sitting in the front seat...helps with your CG in keeping the tail up. Done this in a J-3, not so easy in the High Country...prop too long.

The faster I go , the farther behind I get.
Local guy does that in his T-Cart all the time. I believe he is on his 3rd prop right now, think that would teach a guy.
