How many photos in an album?
Is there a max number of photos in each album? I just realized that a bunch of the BCP Fly-In pics I thought I uploaded are nowhere to be seen!

No, albums are not limited to the best of my knowledge. The total photo upload limit for each account is 6,000 photos. That was pushed out just for BRD. 
You may want to upload your photos in smaller batches though. Sometimes the network connection and scripts that have to run in memory during the upload process can get testy if they have to wait too long.
