Forgot the Corbin Baby Ace. My instructor and I took turns putting the forty hours on that for the cabinet maker non-pilot who built it.

Just one for me, a C-170B. They were hard to come by as rental/club planes.

Re: How many tailwheel types in your log book?

Hey! Can you log four or five different airplanes even though they are all on the same TCDS? Seems like cheating to me.

Anyway. Only three that I actually TOOK OFF AND LANDED.

Aeronca Champ 7BC
Pitts S2A
Luscombe 8C

The S2A was the best and most fun.

Re: How many tailwheel types in your log book?

Blannik (sp?)

Champ

Ford Tri-Motor

(only 0.5 of cruise but I'll take it) it had lawn chairs in one wing locker and suitcases in the other. It was more work to keep it semi-straight and level than it was ever flying a champ. One leg is still stronger than the other from holding the rudder in for that time.

EZFlap says 'Sorry to "bust" a fellow glider pilot but the Schweizer 1-26 and 2-33 are nosedraggers :)'

Oops - my only excuse - it has been a long time since my glider days - they are nosedraggers!

Re: How many tailwheel types in your log book?

This makes my brain hurt.

Airknocker
Cessna 120, 140, 170, 180, 185, 190, 195, L-19, 172-TD
Citabria
Luscombe
Pilatus Porter
PA-11,12,18, 20, Pawnee
Skybolt
Starduster
Stearman

A Staggerwing is on the bucket list, and I will add a DC-3 type before I die, just because I want to.
