Here's what I do:

Read the website above to learn how to install a new host file that will prevent a huge bunch of tracking cookie sites, known malware sites, and some other nasty sites. I installed it several years ago, and periodically download the latest host file to keep current. Some websites load much faster if the crap ads aren't loaded. In the case of BCP, I see no ads at all. No speed increase, though, because of the small number of ads. Note that google ad whatever is on the list, so when you google something, and the top few hits are sponsored, the link won't work. This is sometimes annoying, but I simply copy and paste the website into the address bar and go directly. Now, when I do a malware check, I get very few of the tracking cookies.

I should add that the ads delivered by Google are the only ads on here, and they are legitimate-- no malware or any nasties.

I think you do an incredible job giving us all the opportunity to connect.
I have never even noticed any ads. Now that its been mentioned I do see some but don’t have a problem with them. I don’t want to piss anyone off and times are tough but I’m in for $200. I know how much time and $$ can go into developing and administrating a web site. What is your address? I’ll send in my donation as a gratitude for your efforts and my appreciation for having your site available. I hope those that can, will also send in a donation. Even a small one, every bit helps. I think you deserve it.

Ads? That's so Internet Explorer. Firefox has a built in ad blocker. Never see an ad.

Wow the pressure is on. I started the process over again last night to do the forum and photo gallery migration. It starts with making sure about 4 or 5 difference pieces of software will play nicely together.

The funnest part is choosing the featured photos for the homepage, so if you want to be considered, make sure you upload large format versions to our gallery with descriptive caption.
