Howdy - BCP

Hi Folks-

I am a long time reader of this blog and decided to just bite the bullet and join the group.

I sold my old Mooney a number of years ago and bought a 1959 C-182B w/ a PPonk engine and stol kit. I just love it and it really fits my Idaho lifestyle! Work was really busy this year but I did get a chance to make it into Johnson and Smiley Creek this year. WOW - no more paved strips for me

Iceman- you are correct. When you wake up one day and realize you have worn out your "fly idaho" book by Galen Hanselman and have never flown into JC it is time to fish or cut bait. The fishing is great :D

Re: Howdy - BCP

I would like to extent a warm welcome, too. I fly an original 1959 182B as well. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that yours has but if I am careful I can get in and out of some of the backcountry places. I hope you try some of the others like Big Creek, Sulphur Creek, Mackay Bar and The "B" ranch. Idaho has some great flying to be sure.
