Hope I'm not over stepping boundaries by posting this, However I couldn't find it any where on the page and I thought there may be a number of people here who may need to know.
there has been a change in dates for the High Sierra Fly In. New dates are now October 20th - 23rd

I saw on Facebook that Kevin slipped it two weeks. The bummer is I bid vacation for the 10/6 date last year, can't change it now. So, I'll miss this years event. I guess I'll have to retire to make the Fly-in!

I had nearly 30 some folks and a number of my own conflicts requesting to move it back to the dates we have had in years past. Lots of pickers, sprayers and fire pilots that just could not attend the early dates. Then I suddenly had several of my own conflicts come up. My apologies if it doesn't work out for some of you.

If it looks smooth, it might be. If it looks rough, it is...www.bigtirepilot.com ...www.alaskaheliski.com
Well the date change created a conflict for me, so I can't make it. StorchDriver are you going to be able to change your plane tickets from Australia?

Airport Authority is closing South Valley U42 for a runway resurface during the earlier date. Works better for anyone coming from there. Now we don't have to relocate the birds at another airport in order to fly out.
Sorry for everyone else that had to bid for the time off.

Ill be there, will sort my flights out today. Kev has to many planes now so someones gonna have to help him fly them all
As much as a bugger as it is for those who cant come I do get the date change. Given its put on completely out of Kevs pocket at huge expense its got to land on the date that makes it the less stress and best weekend possible.

Well, fuck. I've had HSF17 (initials makes it look official) quietly posted on several calendars to block my time. Of course that's only a couple merged cells in excel and an entry in outlook. Work has continually proven that a mouse swipe and/or key stroke can delete those quickly. Valdez: swipe, airmen's show: swipe, HSF: swipe. This adult job thing is really getting in the way of life. I'll be living the experience through your posts. Whine session over.
