Thats awesome! Can you show details of how you secure the frame together for riding?

Its pretty simple, the tube on the downtube is brazed to the back half of the frame and the top tube one slides forward to allow the downtube to slide in or out. I was lucky to find some tubing that fit over the frame tube pretty exactly. There are pinch bolts to tighten it all up. I put the two water bottle bolts in afterwards just for a bit of peace of mind. There are commercially available kits, but they will only sell them to frame builders and they are very expensive:

Somehow I got all the images inverted:) but you get the idea.

When I find some Montana small town bar that looks interesting (most of them

), I don't want to ride up on a motorized skateboard, a girly looking Dahon (sorry) or a futuristic folder of any type, just saying, I'd rather be a little more low key.
The way I look at it, the world has way too many freaks and not enough circuses, and the
last thing I am going to do is worry about what other people think.

I am with you 100% on that. I am just not sure that every client in every "small town Montana bar" has the same view. There are times when a low profile works for me:)

The wife and I just picked up some folding bikes from this place.
http://www.citizenbike.comSuper inexpensive and good quality.. We paid less than $200/ea for our bikes. We got the Miami and I have been impressed with the quality. For the $, I don't think you can beat it. Check them out!
