I guess Marines aren't sooo bad...

I just flew two loads of Toys for Tots into one of the villages. The russian orthodox priest and a bunch of the ladies came to get them on their four wheelers (the only one wearing a dress was the priest which is a pretty funny site. Its okay to laugh he does too). It was really neat to see how happy these donations made these folks, it really makes my day to see this kind of stuff. Although my favorite memory of this particular village was flying in a kid that just got back from Irag, the entire village of about 150 people were out waiting for him, laughing, crying, hugs and kisses. Altough I was running late, I couldn't take off again for all the people around the plane...'screw it' I thought let them enjoy, sometimes in life there should be no rush. I love my job.

The winner is the person with the most stories when he dies, not the most gold.

Beautiful... thanks for sharing that. It's so awesome that airplanes can bring joy in so many different ways. Keep up the good work!
