For the third time in the past week I have lost a long article I was writing for BCP. I know better, but for some reason I dont learn.

Spent 1.5hrs this AM writing an article on my Wing-X thoughts and BAM... Firefox choked and all was lost. Ugh-

Just a warning to all other potential dumb-asses... write your copy off line, then just cut and paste.

Sorry to hear about the page loss. I try to save a draft for anything that's gonna take more than 15 minutes to write.
And with as terrible as my spelling it, that's a lot of saved drafts

In a locked room interrogation with BigRenna, he admitted that this spontaneously happened. It didn't even occur when he clicked the submit button, which is much more frightening if you think about it. Your post could be struck down at at time. I'm thinking about that right now as I type this. Life is short, enjoy typing while you can.

Always, always SELECT ALL and then COPY your text onto the clipboard before submitting. I'm gonna throw caution to the wind and risk this one though.

I just submitted this using Safari on my iPad 2 running iOS 8.3 without issue.

I run the wings thru brush already.
Heavy with Gusty xwinds....controllability issues?..
In and out of hangar clearance.

Seem to be a no brainer on floats....not quite on wheels.??.....

I usually just try to stick to typing things that aren't really worth reading in the first place. That way if it gets lost...who cares?

And for the posts that actually do make it,well, I like to refer to myself as somewhat of a thread killer. There's actually a really good chance that now that I've posted here, this thread will just drift off into oblivion, the land of the crickets, never to be referred to again.

Sadly, there are a couple lessons that I seem destined to learn over and over again.

Never go for a walk without a headlamp is one. Work offline, cut and paste is another.

I hope you re-write the post. I'm pretty curious to read your thoughts on wing-x.

If I have a long write up I do it in a word document and save every few minutes. Then I just copy and past into the box and the do any edits needed. This way you can post to multiple locations if you want to and you have it for anyone that ever asks!
