I'm not backcountry yet but.......

I'm not backcountry yet but........I'm getting there.......

Finally had the Ah-ha moment in my sport pilot training (hour 12 or 13) where the rudder control, air speed, elevators and aelerons all came together. Fortunately for me I had just mounted my new Drift in the cockpit (unfortunately, I didnt have the external mic converter jack so it's pretty loud....but....I finally got it.

At the end of the lesson I was advised that I'll be soloing Next week sometime!!!

When it all comes together, that's a pivotal moment. Or so I hear- after 17 years I'm still working on that. #-o
Just a little swerve on the first takeoff but otherwise it all looked great. That T-Craft sounds awesome in the video. Sure great to see someone going for their SP ticket in a classic instead of a plastic whizbang airplane.
