I'm very happy to see...

that there are a number of recent threads regarding planes purchased, planes sold, prebuy inspections needed, and so forth... It's good for the health and growth of our community, aviation infrastructure as well as greater public acceptance of our hobby and passion when people step in and commit to incorporating general aviation in to their lives.

Congrats to all of us! =D> =D> =D>

That's all.

I agree, Scolopax! It is easy to walk down the flight line at the local small airport noting planes that are melting onto the asphalt from disuse, hangars that hold more RVs and snowmobiles than planes, dormant flight schools, and leave discouraged at the state of GA. However, it is awesome to see members of our community stepping up and making the sacrifices to keep some of these birds in the air.

On a personal note, I feel privileged to be in the market for a four-seat backcountry load hauler, and with a little luck I just might find one that fits my budget, mission, and hangar. On the one hand, I wish the process were simpler, but I just remind myself that hunting and dreaming is half the fun!
