Dang, opened this thread thinking you were talking about hunting Ibex. Hunting and flying.....is there anything else more enjoyable in life?

UBCP -

Here is an update on the IBEX gathering this weekend.

The weather looks great and is getting better! The latest NWS forcast predicts:

Today: Sunny, with a high near 60. North northwest wind between 5 and 7 mph.

Tonight: Partly cloudy, with a low around 32. Northeast wind around 6 mph becoming calm.

Saturday: Partly sunny, with a high near 68. Calm wind becoming south between 4 and 7 mph.

Saturday Night: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 40. North wind between 5 and 8 mph.

Sunday: Partly sunny, with a high near 75. Calm wind becoming south between 8 and 11 mph.

We have not recieved any recent reports on the conditions at Ibex but since neither of the closest MesoWest weather reporting stations report any precipitation in over 30 days we expect the surface to be dry, smooth, and hard as it normally is.

If you would like, bring a pot luck item on Saturday at 12:00 for lunch. UPCP will provide hot dogs and hamburgers for everyone, so bring the family and come down to enjoy a beautiful spring day with blue skies and light winds.

Don't forget your sunglasses and consider bringing a chair. Since, there is usually no water at Ibex or most of the surronding area we recommend adding a extra a little extra to what you normally have in your survival kit.

Announce your intentions on 122.9 and PLEASE - no flying over the parked airplanes and people.

It's been a while since we have met as a group and we look forward to getting together!

Sincerely,

UBCP Board

I am thinking about buzzing out there on Saturday. I am a little worried about runway length though.
