Idaho Aviation Ass'n Trade Show May 20

Have any of you guys heard anything about this event? The Idaho Aviation Association and big FBO Aero-Mark are putting on a trade show, forums, speakers and all-around aviation convention in a large hangar in Idaho Falls in a few weeks.

Anyone from BCP going? Anyone know anything about it, whether it's going to be a big, small, or medium size event?

I just found out about this three days ago at the Alaska Airmen's show looking thru the GA News newspaper, hadn't seen anything about it up to that point.

Re: Idaho Aviation Ass'n Trade Show May 20

The IAA has a new website they are still working on: http://www.idahoaviation.com/ If you click on the poster, it brings up a new page with 2 pdf files - one is a poster and the other is a schedule of seminars/events.

Lori is presenting two 2 hour sessions and there are numerous other presenters. The sessions are free to attendees and the admission is free to IAA members. Non-members cost is $30 and that includes a membership to the IAA. In addition, there is a $30 dinner Sat night with Larry Chambers being the keynote speaker, talking about some WWII history. If you don't know Larry, he attends numerous aviation get-togerthers around the NorthWest and normally has a booth with WWII paintings. He is a wealth of knowledge of WWII aviation history. There will be 2 iPads given away to attendees.

Should be a fun time.

Thought about going and figured it would probly be worth the $30 membership fee but then I realized the Carey pancake breakfast fly-in is on the same Saturday (21st). If I don't get stuck at work or something I'll be headed to Carey.

Now please understand that this has absolutely nothing to do with aircraft or aviation on any level... but does anyone here by any offhanded chance know whether the car gas from gas station pumps in the vicinity of Twin Falls, Idaho happens to have any ethanol in it????

Pay no attention to those red plastic cans I'm stacking up in my hangar 8)
