Idaho BC officially smoky

Anyone else flying this weekend in central Idaho? We were heading to Sulphur Creek this morning, got to Garden Valley and turned the plane around due to really poor visibility, bad enough I didn't feel comfortable flying up the canyons. Decided to give it one more chance and climbed to around 10k where we finally got above most of the smoke. Ended up flying over the strip at 9.5k and circling down over Morgan ranch and landing @ Sulphur Creek... did the opposite on the way out which worked OK. Hope the smoke doesn't last for the entire fall season down here. Numerous TRFs in the area so watch out for them.

Flew from Arlington through Washington, NE Oregon and Central Idaho on Thursday and Friday. It was super smoky most of the Way to McCall. Much better from McCall onward. On my way back tomorrow and I'm hoping it will be better.
