Well, made it home this afternoon, what a great weekend. I started this thread to hopefully run into some great people out in the backcountry, and we did. But mainly, it was to share my daughter and I's experience. We have to give credit to Oregon180 as he mentioned several years ago that he and his daughter try and go on a yearly camping trip, just the two of them.......hopefully I would of figured it out on my own at some point, but that got the wheels turning and thus a tradition was born in the Pahls family also. Obviously, we can do this with our boys as well, but that comes more naturally. There is something about fathers spending one on one time with their daughters that is really important, and I think that getting out in the outdoors is a great way to really share some special moments.
So, back to the TR:
Friday, we enjoyed the pool at the Best Western across from the airport and that evening we walked into McCall and got something to eat down at the waterfront. Maddie decided we should call a taxi to get back to the Hotel as the walk into town was all the walking she planned to do that day......she also said Silas (our skinning dog) was tired of walking also. So, we called up the local taxi and got our ride back to the Hotel. We walked back over to the airport to check on X-ray and watch the sun go down.
Look what we found parked with X-ray

Maddie has come up with more ways to use these tires than AKBushwheel could of ever imagined. Over the weekend, she used them as a spring board, a slide, a measuring device for how much she grew in the last few days, and to make shade in the Owyhee sun.
